It’s been a while since I last wrote a blog post….. But here I am, sitting down at middle of the night, crafting this post.

The team and I decided to start a blog to document about the epic journey of this startup and how a bunch of passionate people come together and create a better solution for the problem that many faced. There will be different writing from our beloved co-founders, sharing their own stories and all.

JOBi – A part time job platform that allows one find their right people and right job. At least this is our team objective. The right people for the right job will keep employees and employers happy, thus Work Happy has become our tagline.

It took me a while to figure out the name, JOBi. You might thought, it seems easy, since it’s job related, thus “job” and add an “i” into it. I was once thought this name seems too common that some other people have already using it. So I did a google check. found out there a few people using it, but not many. same goes to facebook. That got me excited of keeping this name. Unfortunately, jobi.com have been taken by some hardware brand at the State… So I resorted to jobi.co

Reason I still insist to use this name even though jobi.com was taken was due to how easy its spell. This is rather important as I have intention to expand this business to other regions once the model proven work. “JOBI” seems easy to spell by Thais, Indonesian, Filipinos, Vietnamese, Singaporean and etc. It was intend to sound a bit childish cause we are aiming young adults, which where we see most of the part time workers are. After a few day consideration, I bought the domain, so, I welcome you to, JOBi.co
